Our Community Ministries

Living Well Trust provides a variety of needed services and programmes to the community and local schools in Thames-Coromandel and Hauraki.

Foodbank

OPEN MON-THU 9AM-11:30AM 

Our church hosts the Combined Church Food Bank that supplies emergency food parcels around the Thames-Coromandel and Hauraki region.

Youth work

Providing well-being programmes in primary schools with schools in Thames-Coromandel and Hauraki, and provides presence-based 24-7 YouthWork within Thames High School.

Drop in centre   (Open Door)

OPEN MON-THU 9AM-12:00PM

Living Well Trust operates the 305 Drop In Centre (Open Door) which provides a cheerful place with free breakfast, tea and coffee. Our pastor Chris and a team of volunteers are available to connect, discuss issues or give spiritual guidance.

Tasty Tuesday

Tuesdays 12:00PM in the Church Lounge

Living Well Trust hosts a tasty and free community lunch for anyone who wishes to attend. This is prepared by volunteers from a number of churches. A short and inspirational thought is shared and thanks is given for the food.

About us

Team-Leader of Community: Caroline Talbot

Caroline has worked as a Director of Studies in a local language centre. She originally joined as a trustee before applying to be the Manager. She is passionate about issues of justice and loves serving people.

Team-Leader of Youth Work: Mike Wilkes

 Mike Wilkes has a passion to see young people thrive. He has dedicated over a decade to facilitating resilience programmes in Auckland, Thames-Coromandel and Hauraki.

Our Team

Living Well Trust is made up by a fantastic team of paid staff and volunteers. We employ a manager, youth workers, administrators, and cleaners.
